About us

At Cylch Meithrin y Bont-faen we provide our children with a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where they learn through play. Children are supported in becoming confident, independent thinkers and benefit from becoming bilingual at an early age.
Offering a “Home from Home” environment, Cylch Meithrin y Bont-Faen is a 19-place nursery in the heart of Cowbridge. Caring for children between the ages of 2 and 4.
We have strong links with the local Welsh language primary school in Cowbridge and provide a wraparound service for children in Nursery class, including transporting the children from Ysgol Iolo Morgannwg and other local Primary schools to Cylch Meithrin y Bont-Faen.
We provide parents with the help you might need to support your child’s bilingual learning, as well as plenty of social opportunities where you can get to know the other families and see for yourself some of the fun activities and curriculum-based learning that our children enjoy with us.
Non-Welsh speakers are welcome!
      We also run Cylch Ti-a-Fi, a baby and toddler group that meets every Monday morning 09:30 - 11:00 at the Cylch Meithrin. Come and socialise, play, sing and have fun with your little ones!
We accept children from 2 years of age, and provide a flexible range of sessions:

Session Times

Full Day 08:00 - 18:00. Includes Breakfast, 2 x snacks and Hot evening meal - £55
Short Morning Session 09:00 - 11:30. Includes 1 x snack- £23
Extended morning Session 08:00 - 1:00. Includes 1 x snack and children bring their lunch box - £38.00
Short Day Session 08:00 - 15:00. Includes breakfast & 2 x snacks - £44

Wrap around care

We currently pick up from Ysgol Iolo Morgannwg, although you are welcome to drop off to us at Cylch Meithrin y Bont-Faen.

All Day Wrap around 

Breakfast club 08.00 - 09.00 with Taxi to Ysgo Iolo Morgannwg. £10
Collection from School at 12.00 in a taxi and transported to Cylch until 18.00 - £43 & £3 Taxi fee

Afternoon Wrap around 

Afternoon Session 12:00 - 15:00 £23 & £3 taxi fee
